The Offer To
Purchase
What is an offer to purchase contract? Is it
binding?
Until the seller accepts it and signs it, the
offer to purchase is just that, an offer. Once the seller accepts and signs
the offer, it becomes a legally binding contract between both of you. Before
you sign the offer to purchase, be sure that you understand everything -
ask questions if you have any. Any verbal agreement should be written into
the contract for everyone's protection - this will prevent disputes and problems
later.
